In this initial study, two aspects of the control of the roller compactor were adjusted to evaluate the effect on the resultant granulate, namely the compaction force and the roll gap. Compaction force was controlled by modifying roll settings. The roll speed and mill mesh were fixed at 2.5 rpm and 1 mm respectively.
