All Electric Power Drawbar | The Hobby-Machinist
I have gotten spoiled with the pneumatic draw bar on my CNC mill and the TTS tooling system. I would rather not do any type of pneumatic system on this machine so I was thinking about an electric system. I see Griz has one for BP type machines but at $1100 that's out of the question. If I can't diy it for 1/3 that then I'll look at pneumatic.

cheap air power drawbar - Practical Machinist
It gets a lot of use, and is not ruined a drawbar yet. I also find it and Mills do not frequently walk out of the collets when the power drawbar is used oh, yeah, the Kurt comes with a regulator and they want you to keep the pressure set at 90 psi. I strongly recommend that you take out your collet locating pin before using your power drawbar.

Biggest reason was that I want to put a 4 inch riser on the mill and I am a not tall enough to reach the draw bolt then. I hate to have to have something laying around to step up onto to reach.
